Below are some common questions about returns & warranties.

What is your return policy?

You can initiate a return for credit or exchange within 30 days of delivery, free of charge. Special order items are not eligible.

Do you charge a restocking fee?

Canal Alarm retains the right to deduct from the refund paid to you a restocking fee equal to 20% of the product's original price if not returned in the original packaging, with all materials included, and in new or as-new condition.

What is your warranty policy?

Products purchased from Canal Alarm include the manufacturer's full warranty and support.

Who pays for return shipping?

They're free if you choose Free Returns during checkout. If not, return shipping costs are deducted from your merchandise refund. Return shipping fees for verified defective or damaged items will be reimbursed.

When will I receive my refund?

A refund is issued within one day of receiving the item. A partial or zero refund may apply based on the condition of the returned item.

Do you charge sales tax?

Purchases in our stores are subject to local sales tax unless the account is registered as tax-exempt. Once approved, customers may make tax-exempt purchases on behalf of their organizations.

What payments are accepted?

Canal Alarm accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa.

Does Canal Alarm price match?

Find a lower total price within 7 days of your order, and we'll refund you the difference. If an item you purchased from Canal Alarm is marked down within seven (7) days of the original order date, Canal Alarm will adjust the price of an item once. Learn more.

Are you an authorized dealer?

Yes! Products purchased from Canal Alarm include the manufacturer's full warranty and support. Learn more.

Do you have technical support?

Technical assistance for your Canal Alarm product is available for the lifetime of your product. Our US-based advisors are here 24/7 for all products via email and phone. Learn more.

Why are your prices so good?

We may have too many of these items, or it does not have a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) restriction set by the manufacturer that limits how we can display our selling price.

Is the product in new condition?

Canal Alarm only sells new products made for the U.S. market. Canal Alarm does not sell “used,” “refurbished,” or “reconditioned” products.

Below are some common questions about shipping & delivery.

What about shipping issues?

The risk of loss or damage to a Product passes to you upon shipment to your specified delivery location. You have two (2) days from the shipment date to notify Canal Alarm of any missing, wrong, or damaged portion of your order. Shipments delayed due to weather, natural disasters, and other uncontrollable events are not eligible for a refund or credit under the money-back guarantee (MBG) policy.

When will my order arrive?

Any delivery dates or times shown as part of the checkout process are estimates and do not apply to large or heavy items that require special shipping (speakers, TVs, etc.), items shipped directly from the manufacturer, or out-of-stock items. 90% of UPS Ground packages are delivered in 1-3 business days but may take up to 10 business days, depending on the delivery zone.

Do you require a signature?

Canal Alarm does not require a signature but may be required by the carrier.
